Kids from the Sunflower Room at the South Whidbey Children’s Center shared their Christmas wishes with a Record reporter this week. Here are some of their answers.

Emily Miller, 5

“I want an electric car to ride in and a dollhouse.”

Rylan Tempest, 4

“A train and a garbage truck that goes in the front and also a tractor.”

Ruth Magwire, 5

“A mermaid tail and I’d also like a desk, you know with a mirror attached to it, that’s pink and white … and with a little bowl of papers and scissors”

Darby Jimenez, 4

“A fire truck that can transform into different fire vehicles. And I want an ambulance that can transform into a paramedic airplane. I want a gardening shovel.”

Oona Grande, 5

“A garbage truck.”

Jack Gunn, 3

“I want a space costume. I want a remote control train, a new one for upstairs in my play room at home because my other one is broken.”

Juniper Butters-Platz, 4

“A dollhouse.”

Ellis Walsh, 3

“A racecar that goes super fast. A big garbage truck.”

Callie Edwards, 3.5

“A mermaid doll. Ariel mermaid doll. I want blocks.”

Rory Dafick, 3

“I want a dino car. … I like dragons too.”

Flora Giswold, 5

“Spiderman. A Batmobile Lego set. A Thor friend (stuffed animal). And a dino hunter Lego set that has dinos in it and the Lego people. And that’s it.”

Esteban Morrison, 4.5

“I want a Spiderman that goes up and down and a remote control Spiderman car … and I also want a (remote control) Christmas tree … and I also think I want a water slide. Yes, and I think I want some T-rex toys. … That’s what I’d like for Christmas, so many stuff, and I think I want a lot more stuff. … And I think I want some more stuff, like more toys, but I have to get rid of some toys because I’m about to have too much.”

Ayden Leonard, 4

“I want big, big cars … on a track”

Hank McInerney, 5

“I want a red monster truck with clear things that go up attaching to the roof.” Anything else? “(My sister) wants something and she wants a Christmas doll.”

Gwen Santosa, 5

“I want a this size chicken and a gate.” Don’t you already have a lot of chickens? “Yes, but I don’t have a chicken stuffie.” What else? “Maybe my mommy might like a craft, because she has a craft room. She does a lot of craft stuff.” Anything else? “My daddy might like a new computer. He works a lot.”

Michael Strelecky, 4

“A remote control race car.” What else? “My nana and papa might like a game, a Christmas game. And my dad would like a new computer. And my mom would like a new pillow.”

Oliver Keohane, 4

“A remote control race car.” Anything else? “Um, no.”
