Eagles Aerie of Freeland gives big to local groups | NOTABLE

The Whidbey Island Aerie 3418, Fraternal Order Of Eagles in Freeland recently presented checks for $500 each to a variety of support organizations in the South End community.
Donations were received by Ann Johnson of the Readiness to Learn Foundation; Debbie Metz of the Island County Senior Services program Meals on Wheels; and Jimmy Berto, president of the South Whidbey Firefighters and EMS Association. Aerie Worthy Vice-President Cheryl Knighton and Worthy President Sally Howard presented the checks and along with one for the final recipient, Enso House.
