Officials from the South Whidbey Parks & Recreation District will meet with representatives from the state, Island County and the Port of South Whidbey to talk about park and open space properties within the park district boundaries at the district’s meeting next week.
The discussion will focus on the potential addition of facilities and properties to the district’s inventory, according to parks director Terri Arnold.
The meeting will be held at Bayview Community Hall at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 20.
Parks commissioners will also talk about the management of Bayview Hall and the South Whidbey Community Health Services Building on Maxwelton Road.
Parks officials will also get an update on Trustland Trails and the status of the trailhead parking lot and connector trail project.
