South Whidbey native joins SaviBank

SaviBank in Freeland recently welcomed a new member to its team.

South Whidbey native Candy Anderson joined the bank earlier this month as the business development officer at the Freeland location.

Anderson has spent the past 16 years as the assistant vice president and branch manager at Whidbey Island Bank in Clinton. She had worked at the bank for 32 years.

According to a press release from SaviBank, Anderson was instrumental in the deposit growth and loan portfolio development on South Whidbey during her time as branch manager of the SaviBank Clinton office.

Anderson joins Lauren Pool, vice president and manager of the Freeland location.

“Candy has a reputation as a respected banker and community leader on South Whidbey,” President Andy Hunter said. “It’s a real pleasure to have such a great team representing SaviBank as we look to provide local banking on South Whidbey.”
