Mount Vernon couple says ‘I do’

Tara Jean Fisher and Joey Lee Shosky joined together in marriage on July 29, 2017, in front of family and friends.

The ceremony was held at Axton Events in Bellingham with Tara’s Uncle (John Saywers) officiating.

Shosky grew up in Langley and is the meat manager at Payless Foods in Freeland, and fisher is a customer service manager at Skagit Horticulture. They live in Mount Vernon.

Given in marriage by her father (Roger Fisher), the bride was attended by Heather Camyn as Matron of Honor with her sister Jayne Johnson, and friend Cari Anderson as bridesmaids. Her nieces Lily and Katie Johnson attended as flower girls.

The best man was Derek Corbett, longtime friend of the groom, with Caspian Kuschnereit, longtime friend and Steve Shosky, cousin of the groom serving as groomsmen.
