Clinton resident Chris Montaperto has something to celebrate this month.

Montaperto was the winner of a $1,000 shopping giveaway at Sebo’s Do-it Center on Dec. 2. The contest was held in conjunction with the store’s Fall 2013 Merchandise Book.

The winner was drawn out of 500 entries on Dec. 2. This was the first shopping giveaway from the store.

Nancy Parra, co-owner of the store, said she hopes to continue the same type of giveaway in the spring.
