To the editor:

We are blessed to live in Island County. The 19th Island County Biz Expo would not have succeeded monumental support from the community.

From the Coupeville Boys & Girls Club who provided door counts to Marine Aviation Training Support Group 53 doing carpet installation, from Double R Rentals helping with tear down to Coupeville School District janitors jumping in wherever needed, from Angelie Graham distributing hundreds of posters to county media getting the word out. Thanks also to Anne Hallam for directing the show and the Coupeville School District for allowing the EDC to use their facilities. A special thanks to Gary and Sandy Leake and the Coupeville Lion’s Club for going “above and beyond the call of volunteerism.”

A final thanks to all the businesses who participated. The show wouldn’t exist without you. Because of our community, we are truly blessed.
