To the editor:

The gassing of the geese is absolutely appalling. There were several non-violent ways to change the course of the lives of these birds that were given to the community by Humane Society of the United States.

I don’t understand why they weren’t tried first instead of killing them all.

Some people obviously only care about themselves and their green grass. The fact that this family of birds probably called that area home way before the wealthy people built their homes there never seems to matter.

Money talks. So sad.
