I agree with Sky Graham regarding the issue of homelessness in Coupeville.

I live in the neighborhood of the church on Morris Road. Using it for an overnight shelter is an excellent idea. I know the neighbors who are opposed and am saddened by their response.

Yes, they are “NIMBYs.” What they don’t realize is that their good fortune is a matter of luck, just like the misfortune of the homeless is a matter of luck. But for the grace of God.
