Editor,

The Bayview Community Hall Board of Directors wishes to thank Sandy Marshall for restoring the Hall’s original maple dance floor.

This generous donation celebrates her parents, Raymond and Eva Mae Gabelein’s decades of dedication to teen dances at the hall. It is this kind of community spirit that built and has maintained this wonderful community resource for the past 85 years.

Bayview Hall is owned by all residents of South Whidbey. The Hall needs support and TLC to keep its doors open. More repairs and upgrades are needed. Exterior painting, a kitchen upgrade, a sound system, etc.

We hope that Sandy’s gift will inspire others to volunteer their skills, help fund projects, rent the hall and attend events there.

Sincerely,

BAYVIEW HALL BOARD OF DIRECTORS
