Thank you South Whidbey Record for your recent pledge to publish news stories about happenings in Olympia regarding legislation and legislators!

Thank you for your great start with the piece about the teachers compensation and how that is being handled, with regard to the McCleary decision. And how great an opportunity and joint effort to host our local legislators later this month!

Instead of getting frustrated later, about laws and policies, lets all pledge to get educated up front and to give input to help create laws that we won’t be upset about later.

And a big thanks to everyone who voted in this recent February election supporting our own local school district as they strive to provide the best education with limited resources.
