LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Community food provider does a ‘wonderful job’

Editor, Just read in your paper that donations for the Langley Soup Kitchen are down. I go there almost every week. Along with Hearts and Hammers, it’s one of the best organizations we have on South Whidbey. They do a wonderful job, provide a very necessary service, and all in a friendly, competent manner.

Just read in your paper that donations for the Langley Soup Kitchen are down. I go there almost every week. Along with Hearts and Hammers, it’s one of the best organizations we have on South Whidbey. They do a wonderful job, provide a very necessary service, and all in a friendly, competent manner.

We just can’t let them disappear, after over a decade of service! I hope the community will rally around and help them out.

Donations could probably be made c/o: Island Church of Whidbey 503 Cascade Ave. Langley, WA 98260. Be sure and mention it’s for the soup kitchen. Please folks, lets all help them. Thank you.
