I would like to thank Jeff Blake for his recent heroic actions in putting out the fire in my home on Maxwelton Beach and the South Whidbey Fire Department for their prompt response last year and this year to fires in my home.

I had never before had a fire in any home I lived in, and it is a very scary situation, especially as I live in Southern California and cannot respond myself to emergencies in my Whidbey Island home.

I feel like angels are watching over my home in the form of my neighbors and the South Whidbey Fire Department. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
