LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Our family is very grateful

To the editor:

Whidbey Island community, thank you for all of the donations, thoughts and prayers we received from everyone for our son Aaron.

We would like to say thank you to Island Athletic Club for the bake sale they held for Aaron and for everyone that contributed; to Rumors Hair Salon for holding a car wash for him and for those who contributed; to Beverly Graham and the Unity Church for all of their help and time and for all the people on the care team’ to PayLess Foods, who take care of their workers for their generous donation; to Whidbey Island Bank for opening up an account in Aaron’s name; to all of our family and friends that helped in so many ways; and to Roy Jacobson and the South Whidbey Record for coming to us and wanting to put our story in the paper to generate more awareness and prayers. We appreciate everything from everyone!

Aaron is home from surgery and is doing well, he is still sore and will be for quite some time and might possibly have to have brain surgery again within the next year or two.

All of you helped us so much, and we are very grateful to live here where we have a whole community who supports us!
