LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Relief drive drummed up good for Oso victims

Editor, I’d like to thank everyone who donated to the Freeland Ace Hardware, Oso Landslide relief drive. On Monday April 7, we sent five pallets of goods to the Arlington Ace Hardware via the Ace Hardware delivery truck. Arlington Ace then had the pallets delivered directly to Darrington where it was distributed appropriately to either the families or the rescue team.

I’d like to thank everyone who donated to the Freeland Ace Hardware, Oso Landslide relief drive. On Monday April 7, we sent five pallets of goods to the Arlington Ace Hardware via the Ace Hardware delivery truck.

Arlington Ace then had the pallets delivered directly to Darrington where it was distributed appropriately to either the families or the rescue team.

It was heartwarming to experience the tremendous outpouring of support from our small community, which included large donations from Freeland Ace and Payless Foods.
