LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Sharon Emerson is the best person to be mayor

Editor, I’ve lived in Langley over 30 years. I have three children who were born here and graduated from South Whidbey High School. My youngest just celebrated her 10th class reunion. We love Langley and appreciate its rich heritage. We are also concerned about Langley’s future and maintaining that rich heritage. We now have two very good candidates in the race for mayor of our beautiful Langley and I want a mayor who has demonstrated a long-time commitment of watching out for Langley. I want a mayor who has demonstrated an ability to work well with others and a commitment to quality care of our environment and all living creatures.

I’m voting for Sharon Emerson because I think she is the best person for the job of mayor of Langley.
