Don’t ever hesitate when it comes to using our local Whidbey Hospital emergency room. I’ve gone twice and each time I was treated fast, with respect and by caring staff. They can diagnose and stabilize you and send you on your way to a hospital better suited to treat your condition. As my situation grew worse they were able to talk me through what was needed for my flight to Harborview; all very scary but these were my only options. Thanks to the Whidbey emergency room doctor and his team for saving my life, and the Harborview emergency room team for getting me back. All this for a simple procedure that went very wrong quickly. I hope never to see them again but I know they are there for us when needed.
