LETTER TO THE EDITOR | WICA’s “Our Town” show is top-notch, a must see

Editor, I attended the opening night performance of Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town” at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts, or WICA. I went merely as a self-imposed obligation to friends in the cast and because I have great respect for the director, Tim Rarick.

Editor,

I attended the opening night performance of Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town” at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts, or WICA. I went merely as a self-imposed obligation to friends in the cast and because I have great respect for the director, Tim Rarick.

Normally I don’t bother much with WICA performances because, sad to say, their standards are fairly lax. I was stunned by the brilliantly directed and poignantly portrayed performance of a fine play I’d never thought much about. I am so glad that I was there.

I strongly recommend that the community support the fine work and inspired acting of cast and crew. You will be glad you did.
