You are losing a lot of business due to the price of gas on South Whidbey. When you can save anywhere from 15 to 50 cents a gallon, why buy here? A lot of people are buying their gas and groceries in Oak Harbor or over town. We should not be paying more than 2 to 3 cents a gallon more for transportation costs. I like to buy locally, but this is ridiculous.

Also one station on the South End chooses to charge 10 cents more than the others. He can charge whatever he wants, but I choose not to buy there. How about you?

The gas companies are making plenty.

I hate to get hosed twice. It’s time the business community gets together and demands a fair break from the refiners. The gas all comes out of the same valve. Why should we pay more? You can buy gas cheaper in Birds view or Port Townsend. Why?

Let’s all work together to give everyone a fair shake.
