Many thanks for Improv Night | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

I just wanted to publicly recognize and thank all of those people who helped to make our Ryan’s House Improv Night Fundraiser a HUGE success: $902 was raised to help build a youth shelter here on Whidbey Island.

First of all, a big thank you to Michael Barker for his talented group of improv students. If you haven’t attended one of their shows, put it on your to-do list. They are awesome.

Next, thank you to Maurlee’s restaurant for their hospitality and great food, especially the onion rings. Thank you to the individuals and businesses who donated the wonderful raffle items: Bayview Farm & Garden, the Paint Escape, Michael Barker, Wendy Lee Lynds and the Trinity Lutheran Church Quilters.

Thank you for helping us bring awareness to the many homeless youths here on Whidbey Island and how, as a community, we can rally around and support these students.
