South Whidbey Lions announced the recipients of this years scholarships.

South Whidbey High School seniors Lily Farnham and Olivia Vargas will each receive $1,000 scholarships upon graduation. Both are liberal arts majors.

Senior Ian Maddux, an engineering major with plans to enroll in an ROTC program, who is also eyeing a commission in Air Force Military Intelligence, will receive the Maury Hood Memorial Scholarship of $1,050 upon graduating.
