Bunny sightings on Easter weekend

Kids head out to the fields and parks today and tomorrow to hunt for the Easter bunny's eggs.

“Clinton’s annual Easter egg hunt is at Dan Porter Park from 10 a.m.-12 noon today (Saturday), April 22. Ages 0 to 9 will hunt for the eggs and the prizes inside them. Park at the park and ride lot behind the Clinton Post Office.*The Easter Bunny and all the bunny helpers have hidden 2,000 eggs filled with candy, treasure or prizes for the Greenbank Farm’s Easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 23, from 1-4 p.m. The Easter Bunny in person will greet all the kids. (Parents: Bring a camera for a memorable picture of your youngster and the friendly bunny.)*The annual Easter Egg hunt at the Holmes Harbor Rod and Gun Club will start at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, with lots of money eggs and special baskets and prizes. Coin scrambles will follow the hunts.Kids will hunt in groups by ages: 0-3, 4-5, 6-8 and 9-12. There are cookies and candy treats for the children, and the Ladies Auxiliary will have hot dogs, coffee and pop available. Everyone is welcome.*South Whidbey American Legion Post 141 plans its second annual kids’ Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 23, at noon. Buffet breakfasts open to the public are available from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. All are invited to come join in the fun.”
