Clinton Chamber to hold potluck tonight

The Clinton Chamber of Commerce will hold a potluck dinner tonight to discuss the organization's future direction and its mission.

The Clinton Chamber of Commerce will hold a potluck dinner tonight to discuss the organization’s future direction and its mission.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the Clinton Community Hall. The potluck is open to non-members who are interested in seeing Clinton grow and prosper.

A questionnaire will be passed out for anyone interested in sharing their thoughts about the chamber.

The organization is currently struggling with membership, particularly in filling key leadership positions, according to Bob Craven, chairman of the board.

“It’s not like we’re not doing anything, but we need more people involved,” he said.

Members of other area community groups are expected to attend and share what they’ve been up to in the name of Clinton.
