Several South Whidbey businesses supported Freeland’s annual July 3 Celebrate America with donations. The event is funded with community contributions and sponsorships.

Donations: Davis Industries, Naomi’s Exxon and Bayview Exxon – $3,000; Whidbey Coffee – $2,000; Freeland Chamber of Commerce – $1,500; AP Mechanic – $1,250; Nichols Brothers Boat Builders, Hansen’s Building Supply, Janes Company, Kirkland RV and Payless Foods – $1,000.
