“On Saturday, Jan. 13, kindergarten through sixth-grade kids can meet their favorite high school basketball players at a Falcon Buddy get-together at South Whidbey High School. At 11 a.m., boys and girls on the high school teams will gather in the school gymnasium to talk a little basketball with the younger students and play some 1-on-10, 1-on-20, or any other ratio that seems fair.The Buddies will also be able to compete in a shooting contest and other games. After the fun in the gym, Buddies organizers will hold an ice cream social for the kids and players. Every child who signs on as a Falcon Buddy will get free admission to all high school games. “
