“Beginning this week the Freeland Post Office is opening a half-hour later each morning.Postmaster Bill Noack explained the move by saying, there’s not enough business to justify keeping it open the longer hours.So early birds will have to wait until 9 a.m. to find a clerk at the counter. Previously, the post office opened at 8:30. The closing time of 4:30 p.m. remains the same.”
