Freeland resident Frank Jacobson was recently installed as the 1st Lieutenant of the Nile Shrine Drum and Bugle Corps located in Mountlake Terrace.

The Shriners Drum and Bugle Corps and other Shrine clubs perform at many area events, including the Island County Fair Parade each August, raising funds to support the Shriners’ children’s hospitals.

Shriners International supports Shriners Hospitals for Children, an international healthcare system of 22 hospitals dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing specialty pediatric care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs. Anyone interested in
