Stephanie and Martin Andrews proudly announce the birth of their son, Wren Christopher Andrews, born at home in Langley on Jan. 22, 2010 — his mother’s birthday. Wren weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches long. He joins big brother Elliot, grandparents Steve and Cathy Chism of Freeland; Rhonda and Rolf Holle of Missoula, Mont.; and Jerry and Ursula Andrews of Hockessin, Del.

“We want to thank all the women at the Greenbank Birth Center for their care and nurturing through our pregnancy, and a very special thanks to Cynthia Jaffe and Crystal Ogle for attending and assisting in the gentle labor and miraculous birth of our son. You both did a wonderful job and we will forever be grateful to you. We also wish to thank Mr. Robert Rorex for sharing his lovely home in which we reside. It provided good shelter and a beautiful environment for our little one to enter this world.”
