South Whidbey Tilth selects council members

Anza Muenchow of Maha Farm in Clinton will serve as South Whidbey Tilth’s new president.

South Whidbey Tilth held its annual membership meeting on Jan. 24 to select its new president and council members for 2010.

Other council members include Gary Ingram, Linda Good and Susan Prescott. Edward Hueneke remains on the council to complete the second year of his term. Outgoing members are past president Marc Wilson and John Lee.

Tilth members also reviewed the schedule for the upcoming organic-food-growing course, which will be held in collaboration with the Deer Lagoon Grange on Tuesday evenings beginning Feb. 9 at the grange.
