The Island County Historical Society Museum in Coupeville is looking for volunteers to join its History Team.

Museum officials are looking for people with an interest in island history, skills to run a not-your-run-of-the-mill reception desk and in interest in providing visitors an engaging, friendly welcome to the museum.

Team members process admission to the museum and gift store purchases, and occasionally assist museum staff with archives, collections, special events, or various administrative duties.

The position is a chance to learn about local history and meet visitors from around the world while giving back to a community museum.

Scheduling is flexible: half days, full days, special events.
