Island County seeks new TAG members

The Island County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill one position on the Conservation Futures Technical Advisory Group, or TAG.

The Island County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill one position on the Conservation Futures Technical Advisory Group, or TAG.

The position being sought for the technical advisory group is for a representative living in unincorporated Island County. Applicants must be county residents for at least one year prior to appointment.

The TAG reviews and evaluates applications to the Conservation Futures Fund on such issues as technical merit, financial feasibility, extent of benefit, and compliance with the fund allocation and selection criteria. This process usually occurs during March and April of each year.
