Interested in learning to meditate? Already meditating and interested in deepening the practice?
Come learn Mindfulness/Awareness meditation and join others in practice at a meditation open house from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7 in the Sanctuary at the Whidbey Institute.
Meditation instruction is offered free of charge by instructor Howard M. Aposhyan, and will introduce the practices of Shamatha (“calm-abiding”) and Vipashyana (“insight”) meditation. Aposhyan is a senior student of the Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, a Tibetan teacher and meditation master. No appointment is necessary.
