A chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness or NAMI has been formed and will hold a free class beginning next month. The chapter was formed under the Snohomish group by NAMI certified volunteers.

It’s designed to address those afflicted with the following: major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder, borderline personality disorder, panic disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder, and co-occurring brain disorders and addictive disorders.

The class is 6:30-9 p.m. Fridays, Feb. 5-April 1 in Langley. Walk-ins are not permitted. Call 425-339-3620 or email mikeonwhidbey@gmail.com to pre-register; deadline is Friday, Jan. 29.
