Nine appointed to Island County citizens advisory board

The Board of Island County Commissioners yesterday appointed nine people to the newly formed citizens’ advisory board of the county’s Conservations Futures program.

The Board of Island County Commissioners yesterday appointed nine people to the newly formed citizens’ advisory board of the county’s Conservations Futures program.

They are Susan Bennett, Terica Ginther, Linda Kast Meehan, Dave Parent, Todd Peterson, Penny Pfiester, David Smith, Dick Toft and Kathryn Wells.

The board received 11 applications, it said. The members by law should possess conservation and community-planning expertise and technical knowledge. They serve three-year terms.
