Monday, Jan. 9

At 10:11 p.m., a caller reported that someone hit a sleeping person with crutches on Wieldraayer Road.

Tuesday, Jan. 10

At 11:52 a.m., a caller reported that a man at a Langley park was eating wood.

At 9:02 p.m., a Scenic Avenue resident reported being bit in the face by a dog.

Wednesday, Jan. 11

At 5:55 a.m., a loose cow was reported on Zylstra Road.

At 9:54 a.m., a woman in front of Toby’s Tavern reported losing her keys and cell phone down the storm drain.

At 10:47 a.m., a driver reported that lumber was flying out of a truck on Highway 525.

At 10:54 a.m., a caller at the Clinton ferry dock reported that fireworks were going to be shot off to disperse birds.

At 1:19 p.m., a driver reported that an unsupervised child was running down Surface Road.

At 4:43 p.m., a Cultus Bay Road resident reported that a neighbor’s cow was “screaming” continually for three days.

Thursday, Jan. 12

At 11:07 a.m., a driver reported that a board with nails in it was on the side of Highway 525.

At 11:16 a.m., a Walker Avenue resident reported finding a dog wearing a sweater.

Friday, Jan. 13

At 11:29 a.m., a caller reported that a bunny crawled under a vehicle at the Langley Library.

At 2:24 p.m., a banker reported that a customer took out a very large mortgage and wants to transfer funds to a woman in South Africa to transport diamonds. The caller was worried about fraud.

At 2:39 p.m., an Orchard Loop resident reported that someone broken into the house.

Saturday, Jan. 14

At 7:14 a.m., a Crosby Road resident reported that two sheds were broken into.

At 12:03 p.m., a McMaster Road resident reported her husband took her children to Mexico. She wanted to report the international abduction but the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children told her to call local law enforcement first.

At 12:14 p.m., a Shorebird Land resident reported hearing artillery or large-caliber shells across the water.

At 2:42 p.m., a Silver Lake Road resident reported hearing loud explosions or large-caliber guns.

At 4:40 p.m., a Bayview Road resident reported that someone kidnapped his pig.

At 5:51 p.m., a Powell Road resident reported that someone took his vehicle and locked his cats in a camper.

At 9:10 p.m., a Viewcrest Place resident reported that a neighbor’s cat is stuck in a tree.
