Clipper Vacations announced this week the Victoria Clipper III will again visit Langley for Mystery Weekend.

This year’s Mystery Weekend is planned for Feb. 25-26, and the Seattle ship is scheduled to arrive at the Langley Marina by 10 a.m. Sunday, the second day of the annual whodunnit.

This year’s murder mystery is “In Cold Mud.” The set-up: The village is in the grip of gold fever after a quiet stranger wanders into town with a pocket full of gold nuggets. His mud-covered body is later found in the city park, and the search is on — with some folks more interested in finding the gold than the killer.

The visit from the Victoria Clipper III will be a day trip for the cruise; it leaves from Seattle’s Pier 69 at 8:45 a.m. and returns at 6 p.m.
