South Whidbey Historical Society to honor docents

The South Whidbey Historical Society Board will honor the docents of the South Whidbey Island History Museum and also review the nominations for officers at their next meeting in May.

The South Whidbey Historical Society Board will honor the docents of the South Whidbey Island History Museum and also review the nominations for officers at their next meeting in May.

Docents to be honored are Sue Hoelscher (director), Jim Bolin, Nora Bruya, Saranell DeChambeau, Betty Discher, Sue Fosnes, JoAnn Gilbert, Jean and Don Goodfellow, Carolyn and Bill Haroldson, Carol Lowery, Tom Nack, Louise and Dan Prewit, Cecilia Reed, Donna Richardson, Carol and Jay Ryan, Jean Schmidt, Sandi Siebert, Bruce Towne, Toni Tully and Bob Waterman.

Board members to be nominated for officer positions are Jim Bolin (president), Bill Haroldson (secretary) and Jim Pugh (treasurer). Carol Lowry will also be nominated for a three-year term as a board member.

The public is welcome to attend. The meeting is at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 1 at the Bayview Senior Center.
