South Whidbey Parks officials will hold a public hearing on next year’s budget and vote on next year’s property tax levy at their next meeting on Nov. 17.

South Whidbey Parks officials will hold a public hearing on next year’s budget and vote on next year’s property tax levy at their next meeting on Nov. 17.

The board for the South Whidbey Parks & Recreation District will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at parks district headquarters, 5475 Maxwelton Road.

The meeting begins with public testimony on the 2011 budget, and the park board’s agenda also includes approval of the levy and the adoption of next year’s budget.

The regular board meeting will follow at 7 p.m. Unfinished business on the agenda includes the park district’s comprehensive plan and the Mudder event, and under new business, a look at 2011 grants and a project proposal from Rotary.
