South Whidbey’s bus service still not up to speed

Two primary routes are still shut down that serve parts of Freeland, Langley and Clinton.

Route 5 from Honeymoon Bay Road down Saratoga Road to downtown Langley and back again is still not running.

Route 8, the Scatchet Head run, is also not running.

The National Weather Service in Seattle said more rain and possible snow are likely Friday afternoon. It’ll be cloudy, with a high near 38 and south winds between 11 and 20 mph. The total daytime snow accumulation possible is expected to be less than a half-inch.
