A viewing party for Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Courage – Rally in Jerusalem” will be held next week in Freeland.

The gathering to celebrate Israel, courage, freedom, honor and faith is sponsored by the new 9/12 Project on Whidbey Island, which is being organized by Rich Bacigalupi of Langley. The 9/12 Project is billed as a volunteer-based, non-partisan movement to build and unite Americans to recreate the same feeling of togetherness that occurred after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The viewing party is from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24 in the Fireside Room at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the free event.
