God breathed His Breath of Life into Eleanora (Dolly) Handegard 97 years ago on Aug. 31, 1921. He took her home Oct. 17, 2018.

Dolly was born to Sigbert and Rose Ostby and raised in Spokane, with five siblings. She married Leif Handegard and they were blessed with three children, Rose, Karen and Leif.

Dolly’s husband and daughter Rose preceded her in death. They had eight grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Dolly also had her church family, Trinity Lutheran in Freeland.

Later in years she went to live with her granddaughter, where she was cared for by her grandchildren until the Lord called her home. She will be truly missed and always remembered as our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
