Jenny B. Andreassen passed away peacefully Oct. 14, 2002, in Freeland at age 92.

She was born in Elde, Norway, at Kjol on March 11, 1910, and came to America in 1938. A long-time resident of Seattle, she was a member of the Sons of Norway and the Norwegian Ladies Chorus.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ove.

She is survived by a son, John Andreassen of Olympia; a daughter, Janet Russell of Greenbank; four grandchildren, Kimberly, Beth, Ben and Dan; and a great-grandson, Caleb.

A lover of life, laughter and song, Jenny lives on in all our hearts.

A family memorial service will be held in the spring.
