LaVerne Tiedeman

LaVerne Engebretsen Lewis Tiedeman went to be with the Lord, February 3, 2012 at her home on Whidbey Island. Born July 6, 1920 at the Arlington Hospital, she lived her life in Washington State but traveled extensively.

LaVerne graduated from Marysville High School and Seattle Pacific College. She taught for the Shoreline School District for 23 years. She has been very active in the Lutheran Church, including churches in Everett, First Lutheran of Richmond Beach and St. Peter’s Church in Clinton. She was a charter member of the Ester Moe Lodge #39 of the Daughters of Norway. 

Surviving LaVerne is her brother, Clayton Engebretsen, her children: Duane Lewis, Jerry Lewis, Colleen Nollette, Connie King and their families.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm on Saturday February 11, 2012 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Clinton.
