Mitzi Faye Burt, wife of LaRoy Burt, passed away July 9, 2008 in Coupeville.

She was born in Fort Scott, Kan. on May 26, 1915 a daughter of Ira Baul and Estella Rankin.

Mitzi lived on Whidbey Island for 38 years. She belonged to the Greenbank Garden Club and the Whidbey Island Doll Club. Mitzi collected dolls and was involved in the restoration of antique dolls.

The major love of her life was raising and showing poodles. Mitzi was a great artist and one of her favorite pastimes was painting.

She is survived by her husband, Roy, of Greenbank and daughter, Dyantha Burkhardt of California.

No services will be held.
