Robert E. Taylor, 78, was born May 5, 1934 to Walter and Evelyn Taylor, in Port Townsend, WA. He passed away Oct 2, 2012 in Coupeville, WA.

Robert retired from the UFCW Union and served 8 years in the Naval Air Reserve. He and his wife, Eloise Taylor, were married for 51 years and have made Freeland, WA their home since 1978.

Robert was active in the American Legion (Post 141) for many years and a member of VFW (7392 OH).

Survived by his wife, sons William (Amber), Dave (Michelle), sister Carol Daly, daughter-in-law Lori and grandchildren Brandon, Jordan, Danielle, Max, Chloe and Lane. He was proceeded by his parents and son Mark. Robert was a good friend to many and leaves fond memories of great times at Mutiny Bay Resort, a 2nd home to him back in the day. There will be a celebration of Robert’s life (a “Kegger” to close friends and family) Oct 13, 2012 – 6pm American Legion/Post 141 (Potluck).
