Girls hoops off to fast start after league win

The Falcons were outscored by the Turks 7-3 in the first quarter, but responded with a 20-point surge before halftime. South Whidbey held Sultan to just six points in the third and fourth quarters to earn its third victory.

Falcon junior Kinsey Eager led the team in scoring with eight points, while junior Kacie Hanson and sophomores Mikayla Hezel and Kolby Heggenes finished with five points each.

South Whidbey will play Cedar Park Christian at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at home.
