LETTER TO THE EDITOR | When duty calls, do the right thing

Editor, I was out enjoying the beautiful sunny weather on Aug. 9, minding my own business. Looking out towards Hat Island, watching the boats as they passed by or checked their crab pots. When I noticed a woman in a boat lowering her trousers — maybe to sunbathe — she sits down then shortly stands up and pulls her trousers back up. She proceeded to empty a blue bucket into the water and rinse it out.

Editor,

I was out enjoying the beautiful sunny weather on Aug.

Oh, please, don’t be what I think it is!

Madam, if you have to go then please at least take it home and dump it into your own toilet so it can be processed correctly and not dumped into the very water that your friends just pulled up their crab pots from.

We all have to do our part to keep the waters in Puget Sound clean.
