Responding to Freeman’s comments (“Why do Republicans hate people,” March 23, SWR).

I would like to ask why the left and far left make such outrageous stupid statements. With all the debt and budget problems in the United States, you ask a very ignorant question. The national debt is $14,238,044,407,504.40; $60 billion is what the Republicans want to cut.

There are 310,255,564 people in the United States; each citizen, including newborns, owes $45,891.34 and every day the national debt grows by $4.11 billion. The $60 billion in cuts isn’t even a drop in the bucket of what needs to be done.

Freeman, if you believe what you wrote to the South Whidbey Record in “Why Republicans hate people,” you are on your own planet. You lefties go on and on about how Republicans want to choke out their grandmothers, kill their mothers, see their kids dead, kick the dog and starve the wife. Look how stupid you and others sound.

You are on your own planet. You are not asking questions, you are making statements that are so beyond belief I am wondering why I am even responding.
