The county is holding a photo contest to decide the art that will be featured on the cover pages of chapters in the county’s comprehensive plan. Eleven photos will be chosen for the comprehensive plan, with the county looking for pictures for ten chapters and the plan’s front cover. Photos will illustrate the theme of each section, as the chapters include land use, shoreline management, historic preservation and more.

Submitted photos must be shot in Island County. Contact information must be provided and the county must be granted the right to use the pictures.
