“The South Whidbey Historical Society will honor Lorna Cherry at its annual meeting on April 30, beginning at 1 p.m. at the Bayview Senior Center.A potluck luncheon will precede the program. Bring a hot dish or salad, and dessert will be provided.The program will feature Gust Skarberg on the Early Days of the Clinton Community, and Renee Neff will discuss the Maxwelton Salmon Project. All Society members and those who may be interested are cordially invited. The annual gathering will conclude with a short meeting and the election of new board members. “
